Upcoming changes

I wish I was 13 again. Back then, I knew EVERYTHING.

Life was so much simpler back then, and if I had a mulligan, there are so many things that I would want to change. Who knows if I actually could, though. Not that that really matters — it's impossible. But thinking about the past has altered my current perspectives somewhat.

I still want to write about iOS — specifically iPad stuff — and tablet technology because I believe in it, and think that it can be incredibly helpful for people with disabilities. It's a do anything tool; "there's an app for that" might really be more than a catchy slogan.

These advancements aren't exclusive to Apple's devices, I just personally feel that they're the best. I have looked at, and tried, other tablets, Windows and Android versions, and just don't see them as complete packages. Therefore, my focus here will always be on the devices that I know best, (the Bradtastic Approved) the stuff that I personally use and recommend, but whenever possible (and applicable), I will talk about tablet technology in general.

I've been sharing more artwork, but I haven't been taking as many photos lately. Due to illness, disability and other personal issues, I haven't been able to go out as often. I don't feel like cluttering my Instagram account (posterous and tumblr as well) with too many silly, boring images.

• Park Bellevue Tower: alas, there is drama in this building, and there are things you should know if you are going to rent here or buy a unit.

Disclosure: I've been here over six years, and in that time, very few residents have made me feel welcome here. Some of them are gone. Most of the residents are older and seem to look at younger people as a nuisance. The building manager, Mark Cherrington, is not a nice person. He's passive aggressive, impatiet and fits many stereotypes that I'll explain in further detail later on. Some people are perfectly happy here, and there are far worse places to live, but at the moment, I cannot recommend Park Bellevue Tower — if you have questions, feel free to ask, comments, feel free to leave them. You may contact me privately or publicly — that's up to you — I will respond in kind.

My complaints fall into three main categories: hostile remarks & personal attacks (including defamation), personal issues with the building & staff, and general issues (things wrong with the building). I will try to remain as objective as possible, and have discussed many of these issues with other residents.

Until then, it'll be things as usual.

When I have a moment, I'll share some interesting productivity tools that I've found.
